Head coach
Stephanie Schmidt said of tonight's performance, "Similar to last weekend, we saw glimpses of really good things. We had trouble jumpstarting our offense against Edgewood because our serve receive wasn't strong. Once we got going, we just weren't able to adjust to their attack, and we weren't solid on the block. I felt much better about our second match. We passed and blocked better, and our hitters made great adjustments and hit intelligently. We just got into a few streaks of errors at bad times. Overall, I'm encouraged by the way our players stepped up, and we're showing good potential."
Wheaton returns to action September 15-16 at the Depauw University Tiger Invitational.
