Greencastle, Ind. – The Thunder volleyball team traveled to Indiana Friday for the first day of action at the DePauw Tigers Invitational. Muskingum College defeated Wheaton, 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-18) in the first match of the day for the Thunder. Rose-Hulman earned a 3-0 (25-10, 25-10, 25-23) victory against the 'Orange and Blue' in the second match on Friday.
Madeline Moore tallied a team-high seven kills in the opening match against Muskingum and she added 10 digs. Katie Ragland and
Jessica Bosse each contributed eight digs.
Kelly Thornton registered 10 assists. Moore had a team-high 10 digs.
Katie Rohrer (PICTURED ABOVE) led the Thunder with eight kills against Rose-Hulman.
Audrey Irwin,
Ellie Brown and Moore each had six kills. Thornton had 22 assists and Bosse led the Thunder with 22 digs in the match.

Stephanie Schmidt noted, "Our passing struggled in the first match and consequently so did our attacking. Although we passed better in the second match we were unable to string together our typical fast-paced offense."
The Thunder close out the tournament on Saturday. Wheaton faces Mount Union at 11:00 a.m. (EDT) and takes on Hanover at 1:00 p.m. (EDT) in the final match of the day.
