Orlando, Ill. - The Thunder men's tennis team (5-4) had its five-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday with a hard-fought 5-4 loss against Rhodes College.
Justin Ancona defeated Rhodes' Albert Vacheron, 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
Dane Paulsen rallied for a 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory against Andrew Morton at No. 2 singles.
Jeremiah Yi picked up a 5-7, 6-2, 10-8 versus Phil Lature at No. 4 singles.Â
The tandem of Ancona and
Matt Steiner earned an 8-5 win against Rhodes' No. 1 doubles team of Albert Vacheron and Daniel Olivier.
The Thunder concludes the four-match trip to Florida on Thursday afternoon with a match against Coe College.
