Dubuque, Iowa - The Thunder wrestling team won all three of its dual matches to win the Jim Fox Duals on Saturday afternoon. Wheaton posted dual victories over Nebraska Wesleyan (31-13), Concordia Wisconsin (41-13), and University of Dubuque (23-13) to improve to 3-1 in dual meets this season. The action concludes Wheaton's 2017 schedule. Wheaton will kick off the 2018 portion of its schedule at the NWCA National Duals in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 4-5.

Carlos Fuentez was one of four Thunder wrestlers to earn victories in all three matches. Fuentez posted tech fall wins against Nebraska Wesleyan and Concordia and recorded a pin against Dubuque. Frank Aiello made his season debut with three wins at 165 pounds with a decision, major decision, and a pin. Caleb Odell posted two pins and a technical fall at 174 pounds. Isaac Odell posted two pins and a decision at 184 pounds. Jonavan Huggins won by decision and major decision and also received a forfeit victory.
