Swimming swept in dual meet against Olivet Nazarene University

- The Wheaton men's and women's swim team opened a busy weekend of action with a dual meet sweep at the hands of the Olivet Nazarene University Tigers. Wheaton lost the men's meet 115-82 and fell in the women's meet 115-80. Wheaton will host a quad meet against North Central, Augustana and IIT starting at 11 am in Chrouser Natatorium.

Wheaton won seven events with the Thunder men claiming four of the seven victories. Both 200-yard freestyle relay were victorious with the Thunder women's relay team of Carrie Bai, Noah Cameron, Sarah Oldach and Amy Robison finishing in 1:46.09 and the Wheaton men's team of Chris Dingfield, Cleveland Speece, Evan Cameron and Sam Price finishing in 1:31.18.

Kayla Roberson highlighted Wheaton's performances by winning the 400-yard individual medley in an NCAA B-cut time of 4:34.40 to finish over seven seconds ahead of the field. Erin Bagley won the 100-yard breaststroke, topping Roberson by a second. Chris Szymczak won the 50-yard freestyle in 22.09 seconds. Tice Wilkerson won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:04.58. Will McCauley won the 400-yard individual medley in 4:16.29, over five seconds ahead of the field.
