Head coach Brittany Smith noted of her team's weekend performance, "This was a good weekend for us. To compete so well offensively and then to grow confidence in our blocking and defense was a huge step forward. We can see how our play was right there with every team we played. Outside of errors on serve receive and our serving game, Friday night could have ended in our favor." Smith continued, "Today to battle back after losing momentum to Stout and win the fifth set was a huge confidence booster. And then to play with such freedom and synergy against 11th-ranked Stevens Point showed us again we are in contention for each match." She concluded, "I'm thrilled for this opportunity to see the team grow and excited to test our growth against Millikin on Tuesday."
