Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder women's tennis team played in a pair of CCIW matches on Saturday; with one road contest and one matchup at home. On Saturday morning the Thunder visited the Cardinals of North Central College (0-1, 0-1 CCIW) in Naperville. The Thunder earned a 9-0 win against the Cardinals.

The Thunder returned to Wheaton's campus on Saturday evening for a matchup with Illinois Wesleyan (1-3, 0-2 CCIW) under the lights at Wheaton's tennis courts. The Thunder topped the Titans 9-0 to give Wheaton its third consecutive 9-0 victory and its fifth 9-0 win out of seven matches this year.

Wheaton improves to 6-1 overall for the season with today's victories and 3-0 in CCIW play. The Thunder will host Elmhurst on September 20 at 4:30 p.m.
