Waukesha, Wis. - The Wheaton women's tennis team picked up its seventh consecutive win on Saturday afternoon with a 9-0 CCIW win at Carroll (8-5, 3-3 CCIW). Today's victory improves Wheaton to 10-1 on the season with a 7-0 record in CCIW play.

Katie Park earned the 6-2, 6-0 victory for Wheaton at number-one singles and Emily Jones picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at number-two singles. Miranda Kay was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at number-three singles and Kirstie White earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at number-four singles. Sara Magnuson was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at number-five singles and Emma Westwick picked up the 6-0, 6-0 victory at number-six singles.

Jones and Park teamed up for an 8-3 victory at number-one doubles. The team of Kay and Magnuson earned an 8-1 victory at number-two doubles and the tandem of Westwick and White earned a 9-7 victory at number-three doubles.

The Thunder will conclude the CCIW regular season schedule on October 15 at Augustana.
