Head coach Brittany Smith mentioned of Saturday's performance, "It felt great to get a win in three straight sets to start the day. While we would have liked to go 2-0, we fell short in our second match with missed opportunities. We have put a lot of hard work in, but we still are waiting for that hard work to pay off, but we are staying persistent and dedicated in the process."

Wheaton will travel to North Park on Tuesday for a 7:30 p.m. matchup with the Vikings in conference play.
