GAME STATS Bloomington, Ill. – The Thunder softball team dropped a 6-0 decision against Illinois Wesleyan on Thursday night in a winner's bracket game of the CCIW Tournament. Wheaton (24-15) will face Augustana on Friday morning at 10 a.m. in an elimination game of the 2015 CCIW Softball Tournament.
The top-seeded Titans picked up the 6-0 win in tonight's game as IWU scored six runs, on seven hits, with one error and Wheaton tallied no runs, on two hits, with five errors. Junior
Katie Thornton (15-9) took the loss in seven innings of work. Thornton allowed six runs, with three earned runs, on seven hits, with seven walks and seven strikeouts.

Megan Neuhaus each hit singles for the Thunder to account for Wheaton's two hits.
Illinois Wesleyan scored a pair of runs in the top of the second inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Titans scored an additional run in the top of the sixth and added three more runs in the top of the seventh inning to account for the 6-0 final score.
