Clermont, Fla. - The Thunder softball team dropped a pair of games on Monday in the second day of the team's Spring Break trip to the Orlando area. Wittenberg topped the Thunder 2-0 in Wheaton's first game of the day. Moravian was a 10-1 victor against Wheaton later in the day.
The Thunder will play two more contests on Tuesday. Wheaton (1-3) will face Monmouth College (Ill.) and Hood College in games on Tuesday.
In Monday's opening game against Wittenberg, the Tigers plated two runs, on six hits with one error and the Thunder were scoreless, with four hits and two errors. Junior
Katie Thornton (1-1) worked seven innings in the circle. She scattered six hits, with two earned runs and struck out seven.

In Moravian's 10-1 win against the Thunder, the Greyhounds tallied 10 runs, on 12 hits, with four errors and Wheaton recorded one run, on two hits with one error. Freshman
Kendall Kehres worked 5-2/3 innings for the Thunder. She allowed 10 runs as eight of them were earned. She struck out one and walked five. Leonard hit a single for the Thunder and
Abby Coster was 1-for-2 with a run scored.
