Wheaton, Ill. - The Thunder men's and women's swim teams dropped a dual meet against Olivet Nazarene on Friday night at Chrouser Natatorium. Wheaton's women's swim team fell 104-101 in a meet that came down to the final relay to decide the victor. The Thunder men fell 150-55. Wheaton will host a tri-meet with North Central and Illinois Institute of Technology on Saturday beginning at 11 AM in Chrouser Natatorium.
The men and women each had one relay team earn a first place finish. The women's 200-yard medley relay team of Erin Bagley, Kayla Roberson, Kirsty Nitz and Cameron Noah turned in a time of 1:49.16 to edge Olivet Nazarene by a second and a half. The men's quartet of

Jack O'Connor barely edged ONU in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:26.65, a cushion of just 0.31 seconds.
Kirsty Nitz earned victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.33) and 100-yard backstroke (56.81). Sarah Hunt won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.82, a healthy edge of .29 seconds. Sarah Coley earned a big victory in the 100-yard butterfly, breaking the one-minute mark with a time of 59.70 seconds. Kayla Roberson won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:10.44. Erin Bagley led a Thunder sweep of the 100-yard breaststroke, winning with a time of 1:07.09
Jacob Clement won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 48.02 seconds, leading a pack of four swimmers who finished within .22 seconds of the lead.
