Chicago, Ill. – The Thunder men's soccer team, ranked 14
th in this week's NSCAA Division III Top-25, earned a 2-0 win at University of Chicago (5-4-0) on Tuesday afternoon. Wheaton is now 8-2 on the on year; today's win was the sixth consecutive victory for the Thunder. Wheaton now holds a 47-13-8 advantage in the all-time series with the Maroons.

Noah Anthony (PICTURED LEFT) converted a penalty kick. Anthony's third goal of the season gave Wheaton a 1-0 lead that the guests would hold at halftime. Wheaton out-shot Chicago 8-2 in the first half.

Wheaton out-shot the Maroons 17-5 in the match. The Thunder attempted three corner kicks in the match and the Maroons were awarded two. Thunder goalkeeper
Matt Paprocki made one save to record his fourth shutout of the season. Chicago netminder Hill Bonin made four saves and allowed two goals in the Maroons' net.
The Thunder will travel to Washington University-St. Louis on Friday night for a match against the Bears. Friday's match will be available online at 7:30 p.m.
