Oshkosh, Wis.

With the victory Wheaton improves to 10-1-1 on the season. UW-Oshkosh falls to 6-5-1 with the loss. Wheaton will step back into CCIW play when the Thunder travel to Millikin on Saturday for a 5:30 PM matchup.

15181Despite several early attempts at net, Sarah Frey put Wheaton on the board in the 12th minute when she found herself open in front of the net and on the receiving end of a pass from Sarah Guidera. The goal was Frey's sixth of the season and Guidera's first assist. That would be all the scoring Wheaton could muster in the opening 45 minutes as Muzi was up to the challenge for the hosts in keeping the game 1-0 at halftime.

That lead would be very shortlived in the second half as Wheaton's Kristin Rauh (PICTURED RIGHT) opened the second half with her fourth goal of the season just 16 seconds into the half to put Wheaton ahead 2-0.

Frey would put the finishing touches on the victory for the Thunder with her second goal of the night at the 82:50 mark on an assist from Sydney Sharkey to account for the 3-0 final margin.

Wheaton will next be in action on Saturday when the Thunder travel to Decatur to take on the Millikin Big Blue at 5:30 PM.
