Hanover Park, Ill. - The Wheaton women's tennis team remained perfect in CCIW competition with a 9-0 win against Illinois Wesleyan University (3-7/1-4 CCIW) on Friday evening. Tonight's match was moved from the Wheaton campus to the indoor courts at Centre Court Athletic Club in Hanover Park due to rain in the Wheaton area on Friday.
Wheaton is now 7-1 on the year with a 5-0 record in conference play. The Thunder will host Millikin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday in a match that at Centre Court Athletic Club due to weather concerns. Centre Court Athletic Club is located at
 1919 Walnut Ave., Hanover Park IL 60133. Julie Buursma (#1-singles) and
Katie Park (#2-singles) each earned 6-1, 6-0 victories.
Emily Jones was a 6-0, 6-0 winner at number-three singles and
Kirstie White was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at number-four singles. Freshman
Miranda Kay (#5-singles) and
Erika Nelson (#6-singles) each picked up 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Buursma and Park teamed to win an 8-2 victory at number-one doubles and White paired with Nelson to earn an 8-4 victory. Kay and
Taylor Parrish earned an 8-0 win at number-three doubles.
