Naperville, Ill. - The Thunder women's soccer team earned a 6-1 victory at North Central (6-6-2/2-3-0 CCIW) on Saturday afternoon. Wheaton, ranked seventh in the most recent NSCAA Division III Coaches Poll, is now 14-1-2 on the year with a 4-0-1 mark in conference play.
Ally Witt (PICTURED LEFT) gave the Thunder a 1-0 lead in the 32nd minute with a goal. Wheaton out-shot the Cardinals 11-2 in the first half; however, Witt's goal would be the only tally of the half.
Wheaton's scoring in the second half started early and often. Senior
Bailey Wysocki tallied a goal at 46:27, to give Wheaton a 2-0 lead less than two minutes into the second half.
Sydney Sharkey increased Wheaton's lead to 3-0 just 30 seconds later when she registered her fourth goal of the season for a 3-0 Thunder. Wysocki scored her second goal of the day at 49:26 as Wheaton scored three goals in less than four-and-a-half minutes.
Kristin Rauh joined in the second-half scoring barrage as she tallied her seventh goal of the season in the 56th minute. North Central's Hannah Magiera put the hosts on the scoreboard with a goal in the 59th minute. Witt registered her second goal of the day and 12th of the season when she blasted one into the back of the net off of a Wysocki assist in the 69th minute.

Kelsey Graham plated 59 minutes in the net for the Thunder with one save and one goal allowed.
Abbey Fuster plated 20 minute in net with one save and
Mary Daghfal played 11 minutes, with one save.
The Thunder will host Augustana on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in a key conference match that will also be senior night for the program. Wheaton concludes the regular season next Saturday at North Park. North Central goalkeeper Nicki Seiton made nine saves and allowed six goals in 90 minutes of work in the Cardinals' net. Wheaton attempted 27 shots in the match, while the Cardinals had 10 Wheaton was awarded eight corner kicks and North Central had five.

ÂWheaton will host Augustana on Wednesday at 4:30 in a key CCIW matchup. Wednesday's match will also be "Senior Day" for the Thunder.
