Stevens Point, Wis. – The top-ranked Wheaton College women's soccer team utilized five first-half goals on its way to a 5-1 victory at UW-Stevens Point on Wednesday afternoon. Today's contest with the Pointers was Wheaton's first since being named the number-one ranked team in the current NSCAA Division III Coaches Poll. The Thunder (4-0) will host University of St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon in a 1 PM start at Joe Bean Stadium.

Bailey Wysocki, the reigning CCIW Offensive Player of the Week, scored the first of her three first-half goals. Wysocki's first goal was assisted by Witt and was scored at the 26:39 mark of the match and she scored again less than a minute later with a goal at the 27:03 mark. Wysocki's third and final goal in three-minute span came at the 29:25 mark of the match to give Wheaton a 4-0 lead.
Carly Falk scored the Pointers' first goal of the match at 37:23 to cut Wheaton's lead to 4-1. Thunder junior
Sarah Guidera netted Wheaton's fifth goal of the match when she put one in just before halftime (43:37).
Wheaton controlled the contest with a 13-3 edge in shots in the first half and a 12-3 advantage in shots in the second half for a total margin of 25-6 in shots for the Thunder. Wheaton attempted eight corner kicks, while UW-Stevens Point had just one. Starting goalkeeper
