Thunder men's tennis tips Carthage 5-4

- After dropping two doubles points to start the day, the Wheaton College men's tennis team rallied back to defeat Carthage College 5-4 on Saturday.

The Thunder ran its win streak to five straight matches, improving to 11-5 overall and 3-0 in the CCIW. The Red Men fell to 14-6 overall, 0-1 in conference.

Wheaton rebounded from losing two of three doubles points by winning four of the six singles matches to get the one-point victory. Taylor Johnson, Joel Parrish, David Buursma and Miles Greenwald all added to their singles win totals. Parrish and Buursma combined to handily win their doubles match as well.

The Thunder return home on Wednesday for a 3:30 PM match against Lake Forest College.
