The Thunder run their record to 19-5 overall and 10-3 in CCIW play. Wheaton will next host Augustana College at 8 PM on Tuesday. North Park end its year with a 6-19 record, 2-12 in conference.

Tim McCrary tallied 10 points in the post to put the Thunder up 17-8. A bucket from fellow senior
Spencer Schultze extended the lead to 16 points with eight minutes left in the half.
The Thunder kept the offense rolling and went into halftime with a 42-30 lead. The hosts hit 64 percent of their shots and found the paint most productive. McCrary poured in 17 points in the opening stanza with 12 more coming from Schultze. Wheaton also held a 14-7 advantage on the boards, while forcing 10 turnovers.
The second half saw Wheaton scoring in the open court as
Aaron Garriott (PICTURED RIGHT) and Schultze threw down big dunks in the early going. North Park hung around by getting the ball into the post to Mike Gabriel and Emanuel Crosby for points up close.
A pair of putbacks by McCrary and another dunk from Schultze put the Thunder up by 20 points with nine mintues left. Garriott continued to put on a show for the crowd with some dazzling passes. Garriott ended up with nine points, five assists and three steals.
McCrary finished strong on the offensive end with 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting. He also added 11 rebounds and four assists. Schultze hit 8 of 11 for an efficient 16 points with five boards.
Tyler Peters added nine points and five assists.
Overall, the Thunder shot 55.6 percent from the field (30 of 54), 44.4 percent from long distance (4 of 9) and 61.1 percent on free throws (11 of 18). Wheaton won the rebounding battle 30-23 and forced 18 turnovers.
The Vikings shot 47.9 percent from the field (23 of 48), 20 percent from three-point range (3 of 15) and 71.4 percent from the charity stripe (10 of 14). Roshawn Russell scored 13 points while Crosby and Gabriel tallied 12 points each.
