Wheaton, Ill.- Two goals in the final 20 minutes broke a 1-1 tie and gave Wheaton a 3-1 victory over Elmhurst at Joe Bean Stadium on Saturday night. The win moves Wheaton to 10-3-2 on the season and keeps them unbeaten in the conference (3-0-1) as well as undefeated at home (5-0).
Wheaton outshot the Bluejays (8-7-0) 25-8 in the game and 10-3 in shots on goal.
Ryan Seager made two saves in goal for the Thunder while allowing one goal. Elmhurst's John Reglin allowed three goals and made seven saves.
The Bluejays struck first in the 14th minute when Mikey Emig beat Seager to the near post off an assist from Michael Delong. Wheaton would respond in the middle of the first half though.

Stephen Golz for a spinning volley that found the net and knotted the score at one apiece.
Wheaton thought they had found the go ahead goal with 23 minutes left when Marshall Holllingsworth ripped a shot that deflected off the left post and back out of the goal. Only a few mintues later,
Chad Musgraves broke the tie with his third goal of the season at the 70:16 mark.
Noah Anthony was credited with the assist.
Elmhurst almost had the equalizer in the 82nd minute when Andrew Witzofsky's free kick hit the woodwork and bounced away harmlessly leaving the score at 2-1.
Finally Hollingsworth (PICTURED RIGHT) did find the net in the 83rd minute as a deflection led to a breakaway opportunity and Hollingsworth slid the ball past Reglin to account for the final score of 3-1.
Wheaton will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Aurora to take on the Spartans at 2 PM.
