The Thunder ran its record to 10-6 while the Buccaneers are now 2-10.

Wheaton got on the board first in the opener thanks to an RBI double by Jenna Lawrenz and an RBI groundout by Amanda Mattocks.

Beloit rallied back, however, and took the lead with a pair of runs in the fifth and the sixth innings, capped by a two-run triple. The Thunder got a solo homer by Lesley Guenard in the sixth inning and had the game-tying runs in scoring position with one out in the seventh inning. The visitors then took a 7-1 lead in the fourth inning on Lauren Griffith's two-run single and another RBI single by Teuben. Wheaton continued to do damage with extra-base hits, highlighted by a two-run doubles by Elizabeth Perez and Danielle Schmidt to go with another Griffith run-scoring double.
