Q: What is your major?
A: Business/Economics
Q: What (if any) plans do you have after graduation?
A: I plan to work for a company/institution involved in third world development. I have no solid plans yet, though.
Q: Why did you choose to attend Wheaton and play tennis?
A: I chose to attend Wheaton and play tennis after I met Jane Nelson, the women’s tennis coach. I was neither thinking of attending Wheaton nor playing college tennis until I met her. Also, I met with the girls who were on the team at that time and they were awesome and persuaded me that Wheaton was an awesome place to go to college.
Q: What do you enjoy most about Wheaton?
A: The best thing about Wheaton is the people here, people who are hungry and on fire for God, and who are so alive with the Holy Spirit. Honestly, it is the people who make this place what it is. When I was a freshman I remember thinking in my first weeks here “how do I become a person like that? (Referring to the upperclassmen who seemed so legit in their faith and life)” And in my time here, because of professors and peers that truly walk the walk, I began to grow and know what it means to live out my faith.
Q: What is your favorite tennis memory so far in your time at Wheaton?
A: There are so many, but actually just last weekend we were up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to play Carthage and after our 9-0 victory, our coach let us go jump in Lake Michigan, uniforms and all!
