Q: What is your major?
A:
Communications - Media Studies

Q: Why did you choose to attend and play baseball and football at Wheaton?
A:
I knew I wanted to play both sports in college. When it came down to choosing a school, I chose Wheaton because the guys were different. I knew I wanted to be in an atmosphere that would build me up with guys who shared the same beliefs as me.

Q: What is your favorite thing about playing baseball at Wheaton?
A:
I really love the team atmosphere we have on the baseball team. I feel like I have a connection with every guy on the team, which is unlike a lot of teams I've played on in the past. As outfielders we always have a break right after warm ups before games. We always try to break on an inside team joke. What is so great about it is we always have a new joke to break on before every game. Those are the little things that make playing baseball at Wheaton great. I love the game of baseball and the life skills I learn from playing, but it makes playing the game so much more fun when you can play with guys you love being around.

Q: What is your favorite thing about playing football at Wheaton?
A:
My favorite thing about playing football at Wheaton is the challenge. Baseball is very laid back, but I think it's built into every guy to love a challenge. There is just something about the discipline it takes to be a college football player that becomes something you appreciate. I know when I'm done with school I'll take those principles on with me in life.

Q: Talk a little bit about what it is like to play two sports at Wheaton? Have you ever had difficulties with balancing two sports?
A:
I really enjoy playing two sports in college. I actually wish I could do more. I played basketball and track in high school as well so I've always been used to jumping around from sport to sport. I do miss out on some stuff here and there with off season work outs and team events, but I don't regret my decision to play both sports at all. I get to be competitive year round. I get to experience two totally different teams and I'm able to interact with a lot of different people.

Q: What do you enjoy most about being a student at Wheaton?
A:
I probably enjoy the Christ-centered atmosphere at Wheaton the most. I can't tell you how many times I've been blessed by people on this campus and in athletics. I came to Wheaton because of what the College stands for and I haven't been disappointed.
