Wheaton College Athletics

Matt Cavallaris is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Thunder wrestling program in 2017-18. A 2015 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Cavallaris was a 4 year letterman for the Badgers at 125 pounds.  
 
An Asics All-American, Cavallaris wrestled at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL and was named a top recruit for his weight class by InterMat in 2010. A four-time Illinois state high school Freestyle Champion, Matt was a member of Team Illinois all four years and an All-American at Junior Fargo Freestyle Nationals.
