Megan Thornton is in her first season with the Thunder volleyball team, following a four-year career with the Thunder. Thornton played in 78 matches for the Thunder from 2010-2013.  In her four seasons with the Thunder she recorded 429 career digs.

As a junior in 2012 she played in all 36 matches with a career-high 326 digs and a .923 receiving percentage.
