Hannah Burden joined the Wheaton volleyball program as an assistant coach in the summer of 2023. Burden has been around Wheaton Volleyball for almost a decade, with her parents, Dr. Dan and Dr. Lisa Burden, serving as faculty partners for the team.
Burden is a Wheaton native, graduating from Wheaton North High School in 2017 before earning a biology degree from Taylor University in 2021. She then graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University's accelerated nursing program the following year, and she now works as a Registered Nurse at Duke PICU. Burden played softball throughout high school and college and is passionate about student-athlete well-being and mental health, as well as the development of the Wheaton volleyball program, specifically.
