Emily Bruere returns to her alma mater as an assistant volleyball coach for the 2017 season. A 2013 graduate with a degree in Interpersonal Communication, Bruere was a two-time All-CCIW selection as a middle hitter for the Thunder. She appeared in 141 matches in her Thunder career with 988 career kills and 491 career total blocks.
