Lily Van Ye returns to her alma mater as an assistant women's tennis coach after graduating from Wheaton College in the spring of 2023 and playing four years of tennis for the Thunder under head coach Jane Nelson.
2022-23: Went 17-4 at No. 3 doubles and 4-4 at No. 6 singles, named the CCIW Women's Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week on 3/29, earned CSC Academic All-District team placement for 2022-23, earned Academic All-Conference recognition for the fall semester, co-winner of the CCIW Elite 26 Award for academic achievement, Wheaton's CCIW RESPECT Award winner for women's tennis, ITA Scholar Athlete recognition
2021-22: Went 13-7 at No. 3 singles, CCIW Elite 25 Award winner for women's tennis, ITA Scholar Athlete recognitionÂ
