Katie Cuthbert returns to her alma mater for her ninth season as an assistant basketball coach for the Thunder in 2021-22. Cuthbert was a four-year letterwinner for the women's basketball program and was a member of two CCIW Championships teams (1998-99, 2001-02) and one NCAA Division III Tournament appearance (1998-99).
Since 2007, Cuthbert served as a guidance counselor at Bridgman High School in Bridgman, Michigan and has been an assistant varsity basketball coach at Bridgman since 2009. She has also served as an assistant basketball coach at Berrien Springs High School in Michigan from 2004-07 and she was the head varsity basketball coach at The Geneva School in Winter Park, Florida in 2004.
Cuthbert is a 2002 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Wheaton with a degree in Psychology. She earned a Master's Degree in Education from Andrews University in 2007.
