2013: CCIW Special Teams Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 9...D3football.com Team of the Week as a return man for the week of Sept. 9...Recognized by the team as the JR Bishop "Scholar Athlete Award"...Played in all 10 games...rushed for 192 yards and four touchdowns...caught six passes for 70 yards...returned 14 kicks for 381 yards and one touchdown...returned 11 punts for 91 yards...had a kick return touchdown in the win at Benedictine on Sept. 7.
2012: D3Football.com Third Team All-North Region selection as a returner...First Team All-CCIW returner...carried 54 times for 312 yards and two touchdowns in ten games...caught five balls for 41 yards...ranked 13th in Division III with an average of 26.85 yards per kickoff return...carried 13 times for 94 yards in season opening win over Benedictine.
2011: CCIW Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26...appeared in nine games, carrying 65 times for 390 yards and three touchdowns to go along with seven catches for 54 yards…carried 12 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns against Olivet…tallied 12 carries for 42 yards and a touchdown versus Elmhurst.
2010: Appeared in three games...ran for 31 yards, with his first career touchdown in a win at Olivet.
High School: A two-year starter on varsity, starting on both sides of the ball as a senior...captain...Player of the Week...also played baseball and wrestled...a member of WNHS Elite 8 teams in both football and baseball...Academic All-Conference...Illinois State Scholar...Ralph Heatherington Award for leadership...missions trip to New York.
Other: Also plays baseball at Wheaton, where he was named All-Region and All-Conference as a second baseman in 2012.
Family matters: Is the son of Wheaton head coach Mike Swider and his brother Mike is a linebacker for the Thunder.
