Justin Ancona is in his first season as an assistant men's tennis coach for the Thunder. Ancona, a 2017 Wheaton graduate earned All-America recognition in doubles at the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championships, teaming with Matt Steiner. Ancona and Steiner advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Ancona qualified for the NCAA Singles Championships in both 2016 and 2017. He compiled a career record fo 76-19 in his four seasons of singles competition at Wheaton.
In 2016 he was named the CCIW Player of the Year. A four-time All-CCIW performer, Ancona won the conference's Player of the Week award five times in his career.
