Ryan Seager is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Thunder men's soccer program in 2015. Seager is a 2013 graduate of Wheaton with a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Economics.

A four-year letterwinner at goalkeeper for Wheaton, Seager played 76 career matches in goal. Seager compiled a career goals against average of 1.19 in his four season, with 18 career shutouts and 219 saves.

Wheaton won CCIW Tournament Championships in 2009 and 2012 with victories by shootout in the tournament's championship game thanks to stellar work by Seager. Wheaton was a 3-1 victor against Elmhurst in a shootout in 2009 and and 2012 the Thunder picked up a 4-1 advantage in a shootout over North Park, thanks to Seager. Wheaton advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament Sectional Semifinal in 2012 as Seager recorded shutouts in Wheaton's three tournament wins as the Thunder defeated Transylvania (3-0); Centre (2-0) and Dominican (2-0).Â
