Micah Adkins-Estes is a native of Science Hill, Kentucky and is a graduate of Pulaski County High School, where he was named an All-District and All-Region honoree in his senior season and helped captain his team to a Regional Semi-Finals birth. He went on to play collegiately at Kentucky Christian University, where he graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Sports Ministry and a minor in Counseling.
Micah was a 1x NCCAA National Defender of the Week, 1x NCCAA Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, 1x NCCAA All-Tournament 1st Team honoree, as well as a 2x NCCAA National Runner-Up. He was deemed an NCCAA All-American Honorable Mention in 2018 while keeping 9 clean sheets on the year and averaging 5.3 saves per game and having a NCCAA season-high 15 saves in a match against UC-Clermont. Â
Along with his playing accomplishments, Micah holds a United Soccer Coaches (USC) National Diploma and Goalkeeper License. Micah brings prior coaching experience by working alongside Morehead State University and Kentucky Christian University as a Goalkeeping coach for both the Men's and Women's programs before becoming a Head Coach of Greenwood Christian Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana. In his second year he helped the team reach the Indiana State Championship, becoming the youngest coach in Indiana state history to do so.
