Elliot Borge enters his second season as an assistant men's soccer coach in the 2018 season. Borge ('16) returns to his alma mater after one season abroad playing professionally with Myresjo Vetlanda FK in Sweden. A four-year starter at midfielder for the Thunder, Borge was a three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Central Region selection. He was named a Second Team All-American following Wheaton's national runner-up effort in 2014. He was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team. Borge was a First Team All-CCIW honoree in all four seasons in the "Orange and Blue".

In his career Borge tallied nine goals and 14 assists helping Wheaton to win four consecutive CCIW championships. In his time with the Thunder, Wheaton posted a record of 72-16-8 compiling a 79.2% winning percentage.
