Joel Smith joins the Thunder coaching staff for his third season in 2020-21. A 2016 graduate of Wheaton, Smith appeared in 103 career game with 32 starts in his career in the Orange and Blue. The forward averaged career bests of 7.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in his junior campaign that included a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to edge Carthage at King Arena and saw him score a career-high 24 points against North Central.
