Wheaton College Athletics

Tim Ellingsen is a 2009 graduate of Wheaton College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Economics. The 2024 season will be his tenth as an assistant coach for his alma mater.

He was a three year starter for the Thunder from 2006-2008, finishing out his collegiate career as part of the NCAA Division III National Semifinal team. Following graduation, Ellingsen pursued free agency for 18 months before injuries hampered his progress and he returned to Wheaton to work with First Trust Portfolios. 
 
Tim and his wife, Jennifer, former Wheaton running standout and 2010 graduate, were married in July 2011 and now reside in Naperville.
