Mikey Swider will enter his seventh year as an assistant coach for the Thunder football program in 2026, and this fall will mark his first season as assistant head coach. Having previously served as linebackers coach and special teams coordinator, Swider was promoted to the role of defensive coordinator in January 2024 and was named assistant head coach in April of 2026.
A 2017 graduate of Wheaton College, Swider returned to his alma mater following a playing career that saw him twice earn First Team All-CCIW honors at linebacker and finish as a First Team All-North Region honoree by D3football.com.
