Matt Snebold

Matt Snebold

Former All-American offensive lineman Matt Snebold enters his second season as a full-time assistant coach as part of Mike Swider's staff for the upcoming 2019 season. A Gagliardi Trophy Semi-finalist in 2015, Snebold was named a Second Team All-American by D3football.com in the same season. A two-time All-CCIW and All-North Region honoree, Snebold signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons following his collegiate career.

Swider notes of the hire, "We are tremendously excited to announce the hiring of Matt Snebold as a defensive line and special teams coach for the Wheaton Thunder Football Team. He will also assist Coach JJ Clark with the strength portion of the program. Matt spent the 2017 season as an assistant offensive line coach for the Thunder. Matt's experience here as a player, continued commitment to this program, competence, respect of our players, and desire to completely invest in the coaching profession has earned him this promotion. Matt is an extremely intelligent young man who is highly motivated to succeed, no different than he was as a player. He will serve us exceedingly well."
