2006-07: Will serve as a team co-captain this season. 2005-06: Started every game at forward as a junior...established a career-high with 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field at Illinois Wesleyan on Jan. 18...grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in five different games...scored 17 points at University of Redlands on Jan. 3....scored 15 points on 6-for-7 from the field, with seven rebounds against Benedictine on Dec. 7....dished out a career-high seven assists and blocked three shots in Wheaton's upset of third-ranked Augustana on Feb. 8. 2004-05: Shot 7-for-7 from the field with 15 points against Curry College at Williams College's "Purple and Gold Tournament"...scored 11 points and set career-highs with nine rebounds in Wheaton's season-opening win against MacMurray on Nov. 19. 2003-04: Played in 10 varsity games...scored a season-high five points and grabbed four rebounds in his first collegiate game, a win over Kenyon College in the Lee Pfund Classic...scored four points apiece in wins at Concordia (Ill.) and at Martin Luther College. High School: Played four years of varsity basketball at St. Mary's High School and two years of AAU basketball for the Oregon ICE...an All-State selection in 2002 and 2003 and the League MVP in 2003...a four-time All-League performer...averaged 19 points and 5.5 rebounds in his senior season...helped guide St. Mary's to four straight State Tournament appearances...a National Merit Scholar...one year of varsity soccer...participated in the Camp of Champions evangelistic basketball camp. Family matters: Michael's father Dan played for Wheaton (1979-83), scoring 1,157 career points and grabbing 599 rebounds.
