Naperville, Ill. – The Wheaton men's track and field competed at the Chicagoland Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at North Central College.
The Wheaton 4,000-meter distance medley relay team picked up the lone first-place effort for the Thunder men's program on Saturday. The quartet of
Michael Wilson,
Theo Lundin,
Noah Martin, and
Michael Osielski posted a time of 10:54.46 to post the top time amongst the eight relay teams in the event. The 4X400-meter relay team of
Bradley Lauber,
Dan Sanoussi,
David Huber, and
Zach Torres placed fourth in the event with a time of 3:29.02.
Senior
Cohen Oberg placed fourth in the men's 1,000-meter run with a time of 3:04.22.
Braedon Veurink was 10
th in the one-mile run with an effort of 4:34.57.
Sophomore
Ty Bova placed third in the invitational men's high jump competition, clearing a height of 1.99-meters (6' 6-1/4"). Junior
Isaac Bledsoe finished fourth in a 36-man field in the men's long jump with an effort of 6.82-meters (22' 4-1/2").
The Thunder men's track & field team returns to North Central College next Friday for the F. Lee Slick Invitational.
