Wheaton, Ill. -- The CCIW announced its latest round of weekly women's swimming and diving accolades on Tuesday afternoon, and for the third time this season, a Wheaton duo claimed both awards.
Isabelle Fitzpatrick earned her first career nod as the Women's Diving Student-Athlete of the Week and became the third Thunder women's diver to garner the honor this season, while
Olivia Wiebe became the third Wheaton women's swimmer to secure the Women's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week award in 2025-26 with her second career recognition.
The two senior student-athletes each played a role in helping Wheaton finish in first place at last weekend's Thunder Invitational and enjoyed highly successful Senior Day performances in their final outing in Lederhouse Natatorium. Fitzpatrick competed on the 1-meter diving board on Saturday and earned a personal-best score of 253.80 after 11 attempts that ranks second on the team and fourth in the conference this year.
Wiebe claimed two solo event victories and set a new CCIW-leading time mark last weekend. The Florida native posted a personal-best time of 10:48.94 in the 1000-yard freestyle that leads the conference this season by an 11-second margin. She then won the women's 200-yard freestyle swim with a lifetime-best 1:58.45 mark that ranks fourth in the league, before also finishing first in the 100-yard backstroke race via a 1:00.60 time that is third-fastest in the CCIW this year.
After their impressive showings in the final home event of 2025-26, Fitzpatrick and Wiebe will travel to Rock Island along with their teammates this Saturday for a 1 PM dual meet at Augustana College.
