GAME STATS Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton women's tennis team hosted Lake Forest College in a non-conference match on Wednesday night. The Foresters (5-1) earned a 5-2 victory against the Thunder (5-1) to hand Wheaton its first loss of the 2025-26 season.

Sophie Dew was a victor for the Thunder at No. 5 singles as she defeated Lake Forest's Kate Feist, 6-4, 6-4 in their matchup. Freshman Mia Luo was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at No. 6 singles against the Forester's Anika Kinnear.

Dew and Carly O'Leary earned Wheaton's lone doubles victory. The duo picked up a 6-4 win against Feist and Kinnear at No. 3 doubles.

Wheaton's next compeition is next Wednesday at the Wheaton Tennis Courts as the Thunder host conference rival North Central. The matchup between the Thunder and the Cardinals is scheduled to begin at 4:45.
