Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton women's tennis team has been recognized with multiple academic awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).
Wheaton picked up an ITA All-Academic Team award for the 2024-25 season, concluding the 2024-25 school year with a cumulative grade point average of 3.73. Wheaton was among 165 Division III women's programs to earn the award. The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). All eligible student-athletes whose names appear on the eligibility form and have competed in one or more varsity matches must average into the GPA for the current academic year.
Eight members of the Wheaton roster were honored as ITA Scholar Athletes as

Elizabeth Dieter,
Madeline Gentry,
Kiana Giunta,
Janet Kondo,
Mariclare O'Gorman,
Carly O'Leary, and
Alexandra Wachs each earned the recognition. In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must meet the following criteria: 1.) be a varsity letter winner, and 2.) have a grade point average of at least 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
