Wheaton, Ill. – Recently 40 of Wheaton's student-athletes in winter and spring sports were recognized as CSC Division III Academic All-District selections as part of the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Program. These 40 Wheaton competitors join
21 Wheaton student-athletes that earned All-District awards in the fall, as Wheaton produced 61 Academic All-District selections in 2024-25.
Four of Wheaton's winter sports produced a total of 15 CSC Division III Academic All-District selections in the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Program as Wheaton had honorees in
men's basketball,
women's basketball,
men's swimming and
women's swimming. Wheaton produced 25 honorees in in the programs for spring sports and at-large program as Thunder
men's golf and
women's golf produced honorees in the men's and women's at-large programs, while Wheaton also had honorees in the
softball,
baseball,
men's track and field, and
women's track and field.
The Academic All-District® teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field, on the court, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division III CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America® program.
