Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton softball team will participate in the 2025 CCIW Baseball Tournament this week. The Tournament begins on Thursday on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois.
Wheaton is the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will face No. 3 seeded Millikin on Thursday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. The victor of Thursday's game will face Augustana at 6:00 p.m later that evening.
Wheaton returns to the CCIW Tournament for the first time since 2021 when all nine CCIW programs participated in the tournament. Prior to 2021, Wheaton's most recent postseason appearance was in 2019. This year marks the 10th time the Wheaton softball program has appeared in the CCIW Softball Tournament.
No CCIW passes or Wheaton season passes will be honored for the conference tournament. Students with valid CCIW school ID will be admitted free of charge. Ticket prices for each day are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 each for seniors, and students, children under five-years-old will be admitted for free.

The winner of the 2025 CCIW Softball Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA Division III Softball Tournament.
