Caroline Stetina and Ty Bova each earn All-Region recognition from the USTFCCCA

Wheaton, Ill. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named its 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region Teams recently following the conclusion of the regular season (utilizing results prior to the Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships). The Wheaton women's track & field team had one selection honored, while the Thunder men's program had one honoree. Top-five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of top-three ranked relay teams.

WHEATON'S WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD SELECTION
Graduate student Caroline Stetina earned All-Midwest Region in the women's 10,000-meter run. Stetina had an effort of 36:54.29 in the 10,000 meters on May 9 the St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitational in Joliet, Illinois that ranked fifth in Division III's Midwest Region this spring.

WHEATON'S MEN'S TRACK & FIELD SELECTION
Freshman Ty Bova earned All-Midwest Region honors in the men's high jump in an outstanding debut season with the Thunder. Bova's effort of 2.06-meters (6' 9") at the Wheaton Invitational on April 12 ranked second in the Midwest Region this spring. 

Bova's mark at the Wheaton Invitational is tied for the 12th-best leap in Division III in the men's high jump this spring. He will compete in the high jump at the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday afternoon in Geneva, Ohio.
