Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton women's basketball team will participate in the CCIW Women's Basketball Tournament this week. The No. 4 seeded Thunder host fifth-seed Elmhurstn on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. in King Arena in one of two quarterfinal games of the tournament. Tuesday's other quarterfinal will be in Kenosha, Wisconsin as third-seeded Carthage hosts sixth-seeded Millikin at 7:00 p.m.
The tournament's semifinal and championship games will be held this weekend in Bloomington, Illinois. The highest advancing seed out of Tuesday's quarterfinal games will face No. 2 seed Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28 at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center in the opening semifinal matchup. The lowest remaining seed will play No. 1 seed Illinois Wesleyan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday on the home court of the CCIW Champion Titans. Friday's semifinal winners will play in the CCIW Women's Basketball Tournament Championship game on Saturday, March 1 at 7:00 p.m.
No CCIW passes or Wheaton season passes will be honored for the conference tournament. Students with valid CCIW school ID will be admitted free of charge. Ticket prices for all sites are $10.00 for adults, $5.00 each for seniors, and students, children under five-years-old will be admitted for free.Tickets for Tuesday night in King Arena will be available at the venue and are cash only.

The winner of the 2025 CCIW Women's Basketball Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the upcoming NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship.
