Naperville, Ill. - The Wheaton women's track and field team competed at the Chicagoland Intercollegiate Championships on the campus of North Central College on Friday.
Sophomore Grace Crowder (PICTURED ABOVE) finished fourth in the women's high jump with a leap of 1.59-meters. Allison Roozeboom recorded a throw of 11.39-meters to place seventh in the shot put.
Four Thunder runners placed in the topi-eight of the women's 5,000-meter run. Sophia Huber finished fourth in 18:34.78, while Elizabeth LaBrin was fifth with a time of 18:44.78. Lily Lebo posted a time of 18:46.22 in sixth place and Sarah Quintanilla was eighth in 18:52.65. Natalie Fopma posted a time of 10:54.07 in sixth place in the 3,000-meter run. Hannah Jones placed seventh in the 1,000-meter run with an effort of 3:28.26.
Hannah Harris finished sixth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:01.08. Abby Rickard posted a time of 2:26.65 in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:26.65.
The Thunder track and field teams return to North Central's campus next Friday for the F. Lee Slick Invitational.
