Wheaton, Ill. – The Thunder women's tennis team hosted a CCIW match against North Park on Saturday. The upstart Vikings defeated the Thunder, 5-2. Wheaton now goes to 4-2 on the season and is 3-1 in CCIW play.

The Thunder earned two wins against the Vikings in singles play. Madeline Gentry was a 6-4, 6-1 victor at No.1 singles against Hanna Zethraeus. Lydia Adams was a 6-2, 7-5 winner at No.3 against Katja Carlberg of NPU.

The Thunder No. 1 doubles team, made up of Adams and Gentry, earned a 6-1 victory against Ristfeldt and Carlberg.

Wheaton's next match sees them on the road at North Central College on Wednesday, October 2 in Lisle.
