Wheaton, Ill. - Head coach Jesse Scott and the Wheaton College football staff have announced the addition of 42 newcomers that have submitted their deposit to attend Wheaton College, with the intent to play for the Thunder football team beginning in the fall of 2024. This year's incoming class features 36 incoming freshmen and six transfer students hailing from 12 different states.

Scott says of the class, "Our staff and program are excited to welcome this group of men to the Wheaton Football brotherhood.  Our 2024 class is a talented one, with 36 incoming freshmen from around the country.  Additionally, our roster will be bolstered by six transfer additions this year – the majority of whom we had recruited as high school players."
 
Scott mentions, "Through the course of this offseason, we challenged recruits to weigh 'what will you be left with?'  Programs around the country answer that question in a variety of ways.  At Wheaton our answer is intense and straightforward – our goal is that our players maximize their athletic development, dive into their education and are positioned to thrive in life after Wheaton, and that they are challenged and supported to become more Christlike during their time in 'orange and blue'. We're excited that this is why these players have chosen Wheaton Football."
